The Portland Trail Blazers have announced the starting lineup for opening night of their 2025-26 regular season against the Minnesota Timberwolves. As Blazer’s Edge press-row writer Conor Bergin reports, the five-man unit will include Jrue Holiday, Shaedon Sharpe, Deni Avdija, Toumani Camara, and Donovan Clingan. Missing from that group is 12-year veteran Jerami Grant. Grant started all 47 games he played in last season and has started 265 games out of 265 in the last five years.
Last year Grant averaged 32 minutes per game but shot only 37% from the field and 36.5% from the three-point arc. That shooting percentage was the lowest among all Portland starters by far.
