Astrolabe Games, Arc System Works, and developer 91Act have announced the roguelite action game BlazBlue Entropy Effect X, which will be released on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch on February 12, 2026.
Pre-orders for the digital standard and deluxe editions are now live on PSN and the eShop. Physical deluxe editions for PS5 and Switch are also available for pre-order, with simultaneous worldwide releases.
Fans can anticipate an all-new original scenario with fan-favorite characters like Naoto Kurogane. In a locale known as the Lab, elite researchers are aiming to save a collapsing world, but head researcher Dr. Mercurius informs everyone that the end is near, regardless.
Consequently, the Research of Possibility seeks the Shards of Possibility, a fragment of the world that can halt this presumed destruction. The Sea of Possibility, a realm between worlds beyond reality, houses these shards. The protagonist, Ace, is the only one who can dive into this sea, so he does so while being guided by the Lab. However, during this process, countless memories rise to the surface of his mind, his body begins to change, and the truth of the falling world becomes evident – The Power of Azure.
BlazBlue Entropy Effect X will have language support in English, Japanese, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, French, German, Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, Korean, and Russian. The standard edition will retail for $24.99, while the deluxe edition will be priced at $34.99.
