Bindi Irwinannounced a move to the U.S. with her daughter, Grace, during a major life update ahead of her brother, Robert Irwin, competing on Dancing With the Stars.
On Saturday, Aug. 30, the daughter of The Crocodile Hunter stars Terri Irwin and the late Steve Irwin took to Instagram with a direct message for fans.
“10 years ago I won @dancingwiththestars here in America with the most wonderful @derekhough,” Bindi wrote of Season 21 of the dance competition series with her pro partner, Derek Hough. “Now, I get to cheer on my (not so little) brother @robertirwinphotography!”
She continued, “If you’re wondering who will be cheering the loudest in the audience – it will definitely be me and Grace. She has already chosen all her dresses to wear in the ballroom audience each week. ❤️🥹 #DWTS. We’re super proud of you, Robert.”
In the accompanying video, Bindi explained the lengths at which she has gone to support Robert.
“G’day guys. I wanted to pop on here and share a little bit of a life update with you,” she began the clip. “We have officially moved to Los Angeles—not forever—for the next three months. Australia Zoo will always be home. But we are here to support my incredible brother on Dancing With the Stars.”
The encouraging sister called her own time on DWTS “an amazing experience that I will always be super grateful for.”
“I can’t wait to support him and see him on every week in the audience, and maybe lend some advice here and there,” she concluded. “He is going to shine, though. And I know in my heart that he’s going to make it far because he is such a fantastic human being.”
In the comments, Hough notably replied, “❤️❤️❤️.”
Another Instagram user declared, “❤️ you were the best ever! I enjoyed every episode with you in it. So pleased for Robert. I know he’ll bring it!”
Someone else shared, “Thank you for being the best big sister to your incredible little brother and we can’t wait to watch him dance every week! 🪩 🕺🏼.”
A different follower echoed, “Already following & ready to vote đź’Ż He’s going to win everyone over, just as you did! 🥰.”
Meanwhile, yet another fan predicted, “First time for a pair of siblings to both win the mirrorball, maybe? 🪩🙏.”
The Season 34 premiere of Dancing With the Stars kicks off at 8 p.m. ET on Tuesday, Sept. 16, on ABC.
