The Buffalo Bills ejected the fan who got into an altercation with Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson during Sunday night’s game at Highmark Stadium.
Jackson connected with wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins on a 29-yard touchdown pass with 1:03 remaining in the third quarter, giving Baltimore a 34-19 lead.
After scoring, Jackson and Hopkins walked past the stands when a Bills fan reached over the front row and shoved the side of Hopkins’ helmet. The fan then hit the front of Jackson’s helmet forcefully, and the quarterback responded by pushing the fan in the chest with both hands.
The Bills later confirmed the fan was ejected from the game, which Buffalo went on to win 41-40.

Jackson said he let his emotions get the best of him when he saw the fan slap Hopkins’ helmet.
“I forgot where I was a little bit,” Jackson said. “You have to think in those situations. You have security out there; let security handle it, but I just let my emotions get the best of me. Hopefully, it doesn’t happen again. I learned from that.”
When asked if he’ll stay away from visiting fans in the future, Jackson said “no.”
“I’ve never seen our fans do that, so no, I’ll probably do it again when we score a touchdown,” he added, “but it’s not nothing against the fans. I’m just celebrating when my teammates get a touchdown.”
Jackson went 14 of 19 with 209 passing yards and two touchdowns in Baltimore’s loss. He also had 70 rushing yards and a score on the ground.
Bills quarterback Josh Allen engineered a stunning comeback, allowing his team to overcome a fourth-quarter 15-point deficit. The game shifted in Buffalo’s favor when Ravens running back Derrick Henry fumbled on Baltimore’s 38-yard line with 3:10 left on the clock, and the Bills recovered the ball.
Allen ran in a touchdown with 1:58 remaining, but a failed two-point conversion attempt held Buffalo at 40-38.
The Ravens didn’t score on their next possession, and the Bills completed their comeback with a 32-yard game-winning field goal by veteran kicker Matt Prater, whom they signed to their practice squad Thursday and elevated to the active roster Saturday.
