Billie Eilish falls after fan yanks her into barricade at Miami concert

Pop star Billie Eilish was nearly pulled to the ground Thursday night as she passed by a barricade holding back fans at the Kaseya Center in Miami.

In multiple fan-posted videos circulating on social media, Eilish is seen walking by a barrier separating herself from concert attendees, with one fan grabbing her so hard that she falls off her feet and into the barricade itself.

One angle of the incident shows Eilish recovering with help from a team of people around her, as one attendee screams, “Oh my God,” while another asks, “Are you okay? Are you good?” as Eilish continues to walk by.

In another video, security can be seen swarming the concertgoer who grabbed the 23-year-old, with several team members appearing to grab ahold of the fan in the crowd as others look on in shock.

When reached for comment, a representative for the Miami Police Department tells Entertainment Weekly, “The person was ejected from the Kaseya Center. That was all.”

Eilish has not yet shared a reaction to the moment online, though one video shows her flashing a tense look back toward the person who grabbed her.

EW has reached out to representatives for Eilish and the Kaseya Center for comment.

Eilish initially embarked on her ongoing tour in 2024, in support of her successful album, Hit Me Hard and Soft. The concert series has traveled the globe from Canada to Europe and Asia. It is set to conclude later this year in San Francisco, Calif.

Thursday’s incident followed a successful career stretch for Eilish, with Hit Me Hard and Soft attaining double-Platinum status in the United States after spawning the No. 2 single “Birds of a Feather,” with the track later being nominated for three Grammys.

Other pop acts have also suffered incidents at recent concerts, with Katy Perry and Beyoncé experiencing technical glitches at their shows this summer.

In June, Beyoncé became stuck in a flying car that soared overhead of concertgoers on her Cowboy Carter tour, while one of Perry’s props — a giant butterfly — also endured a mishap as she sang “Roar” for the crowd.

Eilish’s Hit Me Hard and Soft: The Tour continues with additional shows in Miami on Saturday and Sunday.
