Becky Lynch helps Seth Rollins retain the world title at Clash in Paris

As if there wasn’t enough intrigue heading into the main event of today’s (Sun., Aug. 31, 2025) Clash in Paris premium live event at the Paris La Defense Arena in Nanterre, France, WWE did what it could to add to it throughout the evening. Seth Rollins would be defending his world heavyweight championship against CM Punk, LA Knight, and Jey Uso in a Fatal 4-Way but he would have to do so without The Vision, who were kicked out of the arena earlier in the evening after destroying Roman Reigns, and Paul Heyman, who was sent to the hospital after getting choked out by Reigns. Jey Uso, meanwhile, was not at 100-percent because he tried to help Reigns avoid the aforementioned destruction and got himself beat down in the process.

It was a lot before the bell even rang.

Once the bell did ring, it was a chaotic mess of a match, and I mean that in the best way possible. A Fatal 4-Way, by default, is a wild ride. Here, we got every one of them getting some shine.

Late, Rollins hit Stomp after Stomp, from Jey over to LA and back in the ring to Punk, who he set up with a chair. Except Punk moved and got the GTS. Rollins bounced off the ropes and right into another one, but before he could actually deliver on it, he was hit with a low blow from a figure decked out in black.

That figure turned out to be Seth’s wife.

Intercontinental Champion Becky Lynch is once again officially aligned with her husband on screen.
