Battlefield 6 has sold over 6.5 million copies in just a few days, generating more than $350 million in revenue

Battlefield 6 has sold over 6.5 million copies in just four days, earning more than $350 million. Most sales came from Steam, making PC the main platform for the game’s success.

Battlefield 6 is off to an incredible start and is already shaping up to be one of the biggest game launches of the year. The game officially released on October 10, and within the first 24 hours, it hit a massive 740,000+ concurrent players on Steam, making it one of the most played FPS launches on the platform. 

Now, according to the latest data from Alinea Analytics, Battlefield 6 has already sold more than 6.5 million copies in just four days, generating over $350 million in revenue.

In Alinea Analytics’ latest newsletter, they shared a detailed breakdown of how Battlefield 6 performed across different platforms. Their data shows that the game is having a strong PC-led launch, especially on Steam. Here is the sales split across platforms so far:

  • Steam accounts for 65.7% of total sales, with over 3.5 million copies sold and generating more than $220 million in revenue.
  • PlayStation 5 makes up 23.7% of sales, with more than 1.5 million copies sold.
  • Xbox Series X|S accounts for 19.6%, selling over 1.2 million copies.

Steam was expected to play a huge role in the success of Battlefield 6, and so far, it’s proving to be a massive driver for the franchise. Before launch, the game had already passed 1.8 million Steam pre-orders and had over 3.5 million wishlists. 

The report also highlights where the game is performing best globally. The United States is the top market, making up one-third of the game’s Steam player base. Surprisingly, China comes in second with 15%. Other strong markets include Germany and the UK, with 3-6% player share, and Japan at 3%.
