As ICE raids intensify across the United States, Bad Bunny is keeping his fans’ safety in mind on his latest world tour.
The 3x Grammy-winning Puerto Rican artist recently explained that he opted not to include any U.S. stops on his Debí Tirar Más Fotos World Tour as he and his team were “very concerned” about his fans being subjected to threats of deportation.
“There were many reasons why I didn’t show up in the US, and none of them were out of hate—I’ve performed there many times. All of [the shows] have been successful. All of them have been magnificent. I’ve enjoyed connecting with Latinos who have been living in the US But specifically, for a residency here in Puerto Rico, when we are an unincorporated territory of the US,” he explained to i-D.
“People from the US could come here to see the show. Latinos and Puerto Ricans of the United States could also travel here, or to any part of the world,” Bunny continued. “But there was the issue of—like, fucking ICE could be outside [my concert]. And it’s something that we were talking about and very concerned about.”
ICE raids and deportations have increased across the country in recent months under President Donald Trump’s second term, in addition to the deployment of the National Guard to major cities.
In support of his sixth solo studio album, Bunny’s Debí Tirar Más Fotos World Tour kicks off Nov. 21 in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, before concluding on July 22, 2026 in Brussels, Belgium.
