BLACK ROCK DESERT, Nevada — A Utah couple gave birth to a baby girl on Wednesday morning in an RV during the Burning Man Festival.
A spokesperson from Burning Man Project said their Emergency Services Department and on-site medical assistance responded to a report of a possible childbirth.
Upon arrival, the spokesperson said medical personnel found that a baby had been delivered inside an RV during the festival.
The mother and child were transported to the licensed on-site emergency care facility for further assistance before being transferred to a hospital in Reno.
“Burning Man Project would like to extend congratulations and well-wishes to the family. In the midst of wind, heat, and storms, they brought new life into the world in Black Rock City,” the spokesperson stated. “Of all the things we celebrate at Burning Man, bringing life, connection, transformation, and joy are dearest to our hearts.”
