HOUSTON, Oct. 15, 2025 – Today, Axiom Space announced the appointment of Dr. Jonathan Cirtain as Chief Executive Officer, while he continues as President, marking a strategic leadership change to advance the company’s development of critical space infrastructure.

I also want to extend my sincere gratitude to Tejpaul Bhatia for his years of service to Axiom Space, as well as his contributions during his tenure as CEO, steering the company through a significant transition period.”
Dr. Cirtain is an accomplished physicist and technology executive with extensive leadership experience in both the space and nuclear industries. Prior to joining Axiom Space, he held senior roles at BWX Technologies, led innovative teams at NASA’s Marshall Space Flight Center, and co-founded a machine learning company focused on Earth observation. He holds a Ph.D. in Physics.
