The Google TV Streamer might be the most powerful Android experience you can buy for your living room right now, but for some people, its $99 price might be overkill. If you’re just looking for the cheapest Google TV option money can buy, Walmart’s Onn streaming stick is an absolute no-brainer at its Black Friday pricing.
For just $9, Onn’s basic streaming option is the perfect choice for bedrooms, guest rooms, or any other spare TV you might have lying around your house. Locked to just 1080p and with just 1.5GB of RAM, it’s not exactly the most premium option you’ll find out there for, say, a marquee OLED panel. But I know I’ve personally been waiting to add a proper streaming stick to the guest room in my house, and despite my qualms with Google TV as a platform, I can’t think of a better option than this.
If you’re looking for something a little more powerful, though, it’s worth glancing at Onn’s 4K Pro streaming box. At $45, it’s significantly more expensive than Walmart’s 1080p streaming stick — you could literally buy five of those cheaper models for the exact same price — but if you’re in the market for something that would actually improve your main TV-watching experience, it’s honestly tough to beat. It’s not quite an all-time low (nor is it a particularly deep discount) but it’s arguably equal to Google’s own option, and at a significantly lower price.
Of course, if you’d rather stick with first-party products, the Google TV Streamer remains on sale for $75, $25 off its usual price, at both Google and Amazon.
