Apple’s last November product unveilings were in 2020

If you’ve followed Apple for long, you know that the company tends to launch new products in September every year and often October too.
What’s not so common is November or December launches.
Occasionally products will be released in the last couple months of the year that had been announced earlier. For example, last year’s M4 Macs were announced in October but shipped in November. And the 2019 Mac Pro officially launched in December but had been unveiled much earlier.
If you’re eagerly awaiting a new Apple TV 4K, HomePod mini 2, and/or AirTag 2, what are the chances of product unveilings happening this month?
Based on Apple’s history, November launches seem unlikely, but certainly not impossible.
The last time Apple held a noteworthy product release late in the year was 2020, when the first M1 Macs were unveiled on November 10. That same year, AirPods Max debuted via a December press release.

These are pretty prominent examples—the Macs especially. But it is hard to use 2020 as an example of something that might happen again, for obvious reasons.
Looking further back, the year prior Apple debuted the 16-inch MacBook Pro on November 13, 2019.
That 2019 launch is perhaps the best recent example of a late-year release, since the M1 Macs and AirPods Max may very well have had their releases disrupted by COVID-related delays.
If Apple does plan to launch any or all of the rumored three products this year, we’ll almost certainly hear about them this week or next.
Though the rumored November 12 Apple Store overnight is likely related to holiday refreshes, Apple could always roll out the new products that day too.
Do you expect Apple to still release its rumored Apple TV, HomePod mini, and AirTag products this month? Why or why not? Let us know in the comments.
