
For the second time in four days, a small earthquake has rattled parts of northern New Jersey and shaking was felt as far away as Connecticut, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.
The latest quake occurred shortly before 12:12 p.m. on Tuesday and was centered about 1 mile southwest of Hillsdale in Bergen County. Its preliminary magnitude was 2.7.
