All Scores, Corey Feldman, Baron Davis Eliminated

[This story contains spoilers from episode two of Dancing with the Stars season 34.]

Season 34 of Dancing With the Stars is in full swing, and with that came the competition’s first double elimination.

Corey Feldman and Baron Davis were simultaneously eliminated from the show on Tuesday night. The results of the night were determined by a combination of judges scores and viewer votes.

Tuesday night saw the celebrities and their pro dance partners hit the ballroom floor to dance along to one-hit wonders, including tracks like “Baby Got Back” and “It’s Raining Men.” This season’s cast includes a well-rounded slate of competitors, including Secret Lives of Mormon Wives stars Jen Affleck and Whitney Leavitt, author-influencer Hilaria Baldwin, Olympian Jordan Chiles, retired NBA player Davis, social media star Alix Earle, The Traitors season three winner (and Zac Efron’s brother) Dylan Efron and Feldman.

Additional competitors include actresses Danielle Fishel and Elaine Hendrix, Pentatonix’s Scott Hoying, conservationist (and son of Steve Irwin) Robert Irwin, Fifth Harmony’s Lauren Jauregui and comedian-actor Andy Richter.

Chiles and Ezra Sosa and Affleck and Jan Ravnik took early leads on one-hit wonders night, each earning 22/30 points. Both couples received their first eights on Tuesday, with Chiles and Sosa notably improving after being scored two fives during the first competitive episode of DWTS. After performing their jive to “Maniac,” Carrie Ann Inaba notably compared the Olympic gymnast to Tina Turner.

However, that was until Irwin and Leavitt respectively hit the ballroom floor. Both celebrities earned 22/30 points, matching Chiles and Affleck’s scores, marking a four-way consecutive tie for the top-scoring couple of one-hit wonders night.

Feldman and Jenna Johnson and Davis and Britt Stewart were ultimately the first eliminated pairings in the double elimination. Earlier in the episode, the former couple earned 15 points for their cha-cha to “Baby Got Back,” while the latter duo scored 18 points while dancing a samba to “Return of the Mack.”

During the season 34 premiere, Irwin and Witney Carson and Leavitt and Mark Ballas topped the leaderboard, both earning 15/20 points. Couples were scored out of 20 points for the first episode instead of the usual 30, as Inaba missed the show due to an illness.

Inaba returned to the judges’ panel for week two, alongside Bruno Tonioli and Derek Hough, where contestants were scored out of a full 30 points. The leaderboard for Tuesday’s episode combined each couples’ scores from the premiere and one-hit wonders night.

With Inaba back in the ballroom, one-hit wonders night saw a new format utilized among the judges. Instead of giving a full critique, the third and final judge to critique each couple used one word to describe each performance.

Ahead of the show, ABC revealed the season 34 premiere delivered the strongest debut episode for the franchise in five years, reflecting the newfound virality of the competitive dance show.
