AEW Forbidden Door 2025 continues AEW’s annual tradition of integration with NJPW and brings another stacked lineup this year to London, England’s O2 Arena. There’s never a shortage of title matches on AEW tentpole events, and Sunday’s show is no different, with seven total throughout the card.
As usual, the AEW World Championship takes center stage with reigning champion Hangman Adam Page rekindling his epic rivalry with MJF in the main event. The pair had one of the best hype videos of the year ahead of their most recent encounter, and once again they should put on a show.

On the women’s side of the world title scene, AEW has crafted a wildly entertaining buildup to AEW Women’s World Champion Toni Storm’s next defense against longtime ROH titleholder Athena. Their recent frenemies Mercedes Moné and Alex Windsor will also compete on the card, as Moné defends her TBS title against Windsor, Persephone and Bozilla.
AEW Unified Champion Kazuchika Okada’s defense is one of the most anticipated of the night — he’ll look to fend off the fearless Swerve Strickland. But not every title on the line is AEW’s, as Zack Sabre Jr. will once again get to shine when he puts up his IWGP World Heavyweight crown against Nigel McGuinness.

Even the non-title matches provide plenty of intrigue. Both are of the tag-team variety, starting with WWE’s former “Edge and Christian,” Adam Copeland and Christian Cage, reuniting for the first time in years to take on The Matriarchy. That’s before a big Lights Out Steel Cage between the Death Riders and the Golden Lovers (Kenny Omega and Kota Ibushi), Darby Allin, Hiroshi Tanahashi and Will Ospreay.
