About Absolum
The story follows a resistance rising against the Sun King Azra. After a magical cataclysm, Azra wages war to seize all magic for himself, leaving rebels and their allies to challenge him.
Absolum’s art and characters are co-created with animation studio Supamonks. Combat combines arcade-style melee with counters, magic, and upgradable abilities, while the worldbuilding introduces quests, NPCs, and branching outcomes not typically seen in the genre.
The title also embraces roguelite replayability, with branching paths, quests, and unlockable upgrades encouraging multiple playthroughs. Lastly, there is an original score by Gareth Coker, with contributions from Mick Gordon and Yuka Kitamura.
Absolum is available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam.
