The DeKalb Animal Shelter has a “Butterfly” just for you!
This “Butterfly” is a three and a half year old lab mix. She is a very gentle dog, great on a leash, and really well behaved. She would make a perfect dog for any home. Butterly has already been spayed and is up to date on vaccinations and flea and tick prevention. Her adoption fee is $200.

Meanwhile the DeKalb Animal Coalition has announced a “Clear the Shelter” event for two days, November 8th & 9th with no adoption fees for dogs! Your loyal friend awaits!

1. Complete an adoption application and provide proof of rabies vaccines for current pets.
2. Schedule a home visit
3. Make your appointment to adopt
4. Come pick a dog.
5. Each adoption will receive one 30-minute training session with an accredited trainer and a 3-gallon bag of food.
The shelter is open Monday – Friday: 10:00am – 4:00pm
Saturday: 10:00am – 2:00pm
Sunday: Closed
