CLEVELAND, Ohio — Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow and Vikings J.J. McCarthy both suffered injuries during Week 2 that could keep them out of their games against the Browns this season.
Burrow, who said the Bengals “stole one” in Week 1 when they beat the Browns’ 17-16, suffered a turf toe injury during Sunday’s 31-27 victory over the Jaguars that will require surgery and keep him out at least three months. McCarthy, the No. 10 overall pick in 2024 out of Michigan, suffered a high ankle sprain that will keep him out about 2-4 weeks.
