Buffalo Bills QB Josh Allen to wear visor vs. Miami Dolphins in Week 3

Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen suffered a nose injury in Week 2 against the New York Jets, one that left him bloodied and later bruised. Following the game, Allen told reporters that he wasn’t sure exactly what caused the injury, saying “I don’t know what hit me, whether it was a knee, it was a hand, it was somebody; helmet just kinda came down right on the bridge of my nose, and just started leaking.”

Fortunately, Allen is okay, and he’s set to play against the Miami Dolphins Thursday evening. But Allen may have a bit of a different look from afar, simply due to the helmet visor he’s set to wear in Week 3. A visored Allen is a look Bills Mafia has seen before in watching film from his days playing for the University of Wyoming, and more recently in practices with the Bills.

In fact, Allen is already wearing the protective visor, pointing out that even though he wore one at Wyoming, this week will be the first time he wears one in an NFL game and that he’s trying to get used to it in the next few days. Here’s a look at Allen with the visor, as shared by Dom Tibbetts:
