Motorola has been filling in the Moto G_6 ranks with phones like the recently announced Moto G06 and G06 Power. Another new model is on the way, the Motorola XT2533-4, which just landed on TENAA. This will likely launch under the name Moto G36.
This model is equipped with a 6.72” LCD with 1,080 x 2,400px resolution. This is the same size and resolution as the Moto G56 display, though it’s not clear whether the new model will match the 120Hz IPS panel or whether it will use something less capable.

Interestingly, the Moto G36 will exceed the G56 in at least one way – it will have a 6,790mAh battery. This is most likely the rated capacity, the typical capacity should be 7,000mAh – these are the exact same numbers as on the G06 Power battery. For comparison, the G56 has a 5,200mAh battery with 30W charging. Based on its 3C certification, the G36 will support 33W charging (11V 3A).
The G36 will be thicker and heavier as a result, measuring 166.3 x 76.5 x 8.7mm and weighing 210g. The G06 Power is 8.8mm thick and weighs 220g, while the G36 with its smaller battery is 8.4mm thick and weighs 200g.
Anyway, the Motorola Moto G36 will have a 50MP main and 8MP ultra-wide cameras on the back and a 32MP selfie cam. This matches the specs on the G56.

The chipset will be less capable, though. We don’t know exactly which chip is used, but its prime core tops out at just 2.4GHz. TENAA lists 4/8/12/16GB of RAM and 64/128/256/512GB storage, which seems unlikely. That said, the G56 ranges from 4/128GB to 12/512GB, so maybe it is only the 16GB RAM option that is dubious
There is no indication of when Motorola will unveil the Moto G36, but chances are that it will arrive without much fanfare.
