CHARLOTTE — The Panthers signed a couple of players off AFC North practice squads to fill their two available roster spots.
Njongmeta, originally an undrafted rookie from Wisconsin, played in 17 games for the Bengals last year, primarily on special teams.
Samac was a seventh-round pick in 2024 out of Michigan State, where he was a three-time Academic All-Big 10. He didn’t appear in any games last year and was waived in cuts to the 53 this year.
