It’s not just you, Google services appear to be in a partial outage

A partial outage appears to be hitting various Google services today, including Workspace, Gmail, Gemini, Nest, and other products powered by Google Cloud.

As of 11:15am ET/8:15am PT on July 18, multiple Google services appear to be hitting a partial outage. The outage, which seems to stem from Google Cloud due to its widespread impact, is affecting Google Drive, Docs, Gmail, Gemini, Nest, and other products.

Reports on DownDetector all spiked at the same time, and we’re also seeing the impact live on Nest devices, though not all Google services appear to be affected in the same way. We’re also seeing plenty of user reports via social media.

Meanwhile, other products powered in part or in whole by Google Cloud such as Zoom, Shopify, Spotify, Pokemon Go, and others also seem to be hit with outages.
