She says the issue is “really close to my heart” as she has friends working in Gaza helping pregnant women and schoolchildren in refugee camps.
“I feel like it is my obligation – as a Jewish person – to distinguish Jews from the state of Israel.”
“Boycotting is an effective tool to create pressure,” Einbinder says, stressing she believes that only institutions, not individuals, should be targeted.
