We’ve already seen Liam Hemsworth in the Geralt wig. Now hear his Geralt voice.
Netflix released a new clip from The Witcher season 4 during the streamer’s Canelo v Crawford fight on Saturday night, showing their new Butcher of Blaviken in action.
The teaser offers our best look yet at Hemsworth’s take on the White Wolf, previously played for three seasons by Henry Cavill. In the footage, Geralt approaches the domain of a wraith and battles the skeletal specter, culminating in a heart-ripping moment.
Accompanying the release is a batch of new images, which contain the first official look at Laurence Fishburne as fan-favorite Barber-surgeon Regis, as well as new looks at Freya Allan’s Ciri, Anya Chalotra’s Yennifer, Joey Batey’s Jaskier, and Mecia Simson’s Francesca.
Netflix also confirmed The Witcher season 4, which is now the penultimate season, will premiere its eight-episode run Oct. 30. Hemsworth, Allan, Chalotra, Batey, and their costars are still filming the fifth and final season as we speak.
“This is the beginning of a two-season journey for our family to finally reunite and be together — hopefully forever,” showrunner Lauren Hissrich said in a statement.

Hemsworth returned the compliment by saying, “Henry Cavill has been an incredible Geralt, and I’m honored that he’s handing me the reins and allowing me to take up the White Wolf’s blades for the next chapter of his adventure.”
Entertainment Weekly exclusively debuted the first official look at Hemsworth’s Geralt in season 4 back in May 2024. Hissrich said at the time that “his look has been in development for over a year,” while “cast and crew alike have been struck by the passion, energy, and embodiment Liam has brought to the character from Day 1 — scruffy beard, iconic scar, and all!”
