LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD) – 4th Quarter: Oregon State saw some life on the next drive, but Brice Pollock spoils it again with his second interception of the night.
The Red Raiders then drive down to the Oregon State three-yard line but the Beavers hold them to a field goal.
Texas Tech QB Behren Morton sat down to end his night against the Beavers. Will Hammond took over for the fourth quarter and the Red Raiders go down and score off of the legs of Cameron Dickey.
3rd Quarter: Terrence Carter and J’Koby Williams are having themselves quite the outing against the Beavers.
Carter capped off a Red Raider drive with a 23-yard touchdown catch to make it 35-0, Texas Tech. That catch gives him six receptions for 56 yards and one touchdown so far in this one.
2nd Quarter: Texas Tech’s defense comes up with multiple stops in the quarter, while J’Koby Williams finds the end zone twice.
The Red Raiders and Beavers traded interceptions to start the second half, but this one is all Texas Tech going into halftime, 28-0.
1st Quarter: Texas Tech stops Oregon State’s offense before a near-2-and-a-half-hour weather delay.
The Red Raiders start off hot, though, as Behren Morton finds Coy Eakin for a 38-yard touchdown.
Oregon State goes three-and-out but Texas Tech can’t extend it’s lead as the Red Raiders fail on a fourth-down conversion attempt.
The Beavers stall on their next drive as well, punting on fourth down with QB Maalik Murphy kicking it to the Texas Tech 21-yard line.
Texas Tech gets a third-down conversion and connect on a 69-yard touchdown pass from Behren Morton to Caleb Douglas. The Red Raiders lead the Beavers, 14-0.
Oregon State gets down the field off of a roughing the passer call. The Beavers try to get on the board with a field goal but it goes left. Red Raiders up on top, 14-0.
