Kelvin Gastelum missed weight again, leaving the door open for plenty of criticism from fighters and fans.
Heading into the 25th fight of his UFC career, Gastelum faltered at the official weigh-ins, coming in five pounds over the middleweight limit for a bout with Dusko Todorovic at Noche UFC. It was the fourth time Gastelum came in heavy for a UFC fight and his struggles at the scale have long been a topic of discussion even as he made the move from welterweight to middleweight.

Though Gastelum’s bout with Todorovic is scheduled to proceed as a catchweight bout (with Gastelum paying a hefty 35 percent fine), it sounds like much of the community has had it with the one-time Ultimate Fighter winner, regardless of whether he is victorious or not Saturday.
Veteran middleweight Derek Brunson joked Gastelum should have just fought Bryan Battle, another fighter who was recently released after struggling to make weight. “Five pounds, damn,” Brunson added. “Buddy just said F it!”

What an undisciplined turd. Time to cut Fat Gastelum.

I seriously don’t know how they’re letting this fight go on. Kelvin clearly didn’t even try. Cancel the fight, pay his opponent show and win, and cut Gastelum. There’s no reason for him to miss by this much.

Yes, it is time for Gastelum to get cut.

It’s a little sad in that I look forward to Kelvin stepping on the scale (and the ensuing fallout) more than many fights on the diluted cards now
