Hades 2 is a timed console exclusive on Switch 1 and 2, Nintendo has announced, with a release date set for September 25, 2025.
As revealed during Nintendo Direct September 2025, Hades 2 runs at 120 frames per second in TV mode on Switch 2.
Supergiant’s action game is already available in early access form on PC. The developer said Hades 2 v1.0 launches September 25, which means it leaves early access on PC then, too. There’s no word on a PlayStation or Xbox release date.
“Play in blazing-fast 120fps in TV Mode on Nintendo Switch 2, or 60fps on Nintendo Switch (w/ free upgrade to Switch 2),” the developer said. You can transfer PC progress from Steam or Epic with Cross Saves.
Here’s the official blurb, from Nintendo:

Experience the game at 120 fps in TV mode on Nintendo Switch 2, and enjoy cross-save compatibility between Nintendo Switch 2, Nintendo Switch and the PC version. Hades II – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition launches first for consoles digitally on Nintendo Switch 2 and Hades II comes to Nintendo Switch on Sept. 25, with digital pre-orders available later today on the My Nintendo Store website and on Nintendo eShop.
