- Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce enjoyed a low-key date night on September 8, stepping out in Kansas City for the soft opening of Kelce’s 1587 Prime Steakhouse (which he co-owns with Kansas City Chiefs teammate Patrick Mahomes).
- The newly engaged Swift and Kelce arrived “hand in hand” and were “trading quick kisses,” a source inside the restaurant said.
- There is even a Swift-inspired drink on the restaurant’s menu, called “The Alchemy”—named, of course, after a song of the same name on her album The Tortured Poets Department.
Taylor Swift supported fiancé Travis Kelce at the soft opening of his new steakhouse in Kansas City, 1587 Prime Steakhouse—which featured a special tribute to the superstar on its menu.
The newly engaged couple had a low-key date night at the restaurant Kelce co-owns with Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes on September 8. TMZ reported that Swift and Kelce arrived “hand in hand” around 6:15 p.m. on Monday, and throughout the evening kept it “low-key but affectionate.” Page Six reported that Swift wore a denim dress with wedge heels, while Kelce wore a green striped top; the two spent time together in a semi-private corner booth and “acted like any normal couple,” a source told TMZ.

At one point Swift held Golden, the 8-month-old daughter of Patrick and Brittany Mahomes, and also played with the Mahomes’ older two kids Sterling, 4, and Bronze, 2. 1587 Prime Steakhouse is set to open to the public on September 17, in just one week’s time.
Swift’s appearance comes after she skipped Chiefs tight end Kelce’s season opening game, which took place in Brazil. Page Six cites “the grueling 13-hour flight to São Paolo” as the reason behind her absence on September 5. She might not have been present in South America, but Swift’s presence is very much felt on 1587 Prime Steakhouse’s drink menu—The Cut reported that a martini, called “The Alchemy,” is named in the singer’s honor and takes its name from a song off of her album The Tortured Poets Department (which features clear references to her then-boyfriend Kelce).

The cocktail, according to TMZ, is a cranberry vodka served with Pierre Ferrand dry curaçao, aronia berry, cranberry, strawberry, lime, and oolong. For his part, Kelce’s namesake cocktail is called the Big Yeti—which The Cut reported has been “his nickname for years”—and appears to be something resembling an old-fashioned.

Swift and Kelce were “trading quick kisses” throughout the evening out and “flashing smiles across the room,” per TMZ. Swift was “funny, gracious, and approachable,” a source said, taking time to “greet everyone she passed.”
