With fall approaching, the timing couldn’t be better for a new season of Only Murders in the Building, the cozy murder mystery series that traces a mysterious death in The Arconia building in New York each season.
Steve Martin, Martin Short and Selena Gomez will return to investigate the death of a beloved member of the community as Charles-Haden Savage, Oliver Putnam and Mabel Mora.

The murder mystery show’s fifth season will begin to unfold on Tuesday, Sept. 9.
What time do new episodes arrive?
The first three episodes will premiere at 9 p.m. PT and 12 a.m. ET, meaning technically they come out Monday nights for West coasters.
How many episodes are in Only Murders in the Building Season 5?
There will be 10 episodes in Season 5 of Only Murders in the Building, just as in the previous 4 seasons.
Will new episodes of Only Murders in the Building Season 5 come out weekly or all at once?

What happened in Season 4 of Only Murders in the Building? What will Season 5 of Only Murders in the Building be about?
Season 4 watched the main trio navigate Hollywood and a deal to adapt their podcast into a movie. They saw Eugene Levy, Zach Galifianakis and Eva Longoria portray them in the film. The season ended with the mysterious death of Arconia doorman Lester (Teddy Coluca), which will drive the investigation in Season 5.

From the looks of the trailer, there will be a big mob storyline this season as Lester had a run-in with Bobby Cannavale’s character the night he died. Three powerful billionaires will also complicate matters.
Who will be in Only Murders in the Building Season 5?
Aside from the main trio, Michael Cyril Creighton will return as Howard, Jackie Hoffman will return as Uma and Da’Vine Joy Randolph will reprise her role as Detective Donna Williams. Meryl Streep will return as Loretta, Richard Kind will reprise his role from Season 4 as Vince Fish and Nathan Lane’s Teddy Dimas will be back as well.
Tea Leoni will return this season after a brief appearance in Season 4 as Sofia. Newcomers will include Keegan Michael Key, Renée Zellweger, Christoph Waltz, Logan Lerman, Jermaine Fowler, Beanie Feldstein, Bobby Cannavale and Dianne West.
