Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater Update 1.1.3 Released

Konami has just released Title Update 1.1.3 for Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater and shared its full patch notes. So, let’s see what this new update brings to the table.

Patch 1.1.3 adds an Inverted Camera Look (Horizontal) option. This setting can be found in the Options menu under Controls. Moreover, it updates textures and models in certain scenes. As such, the game should look a bit better now.

This latest update will also fix an issue where players might not receive the reward for collecting all GA-KO. On top of that, it will fix most issues that could cause the game to crash. Plus, it packs some general bug fixes and adjustments.

Konami has stated that it’s currently looking into adding official support for 21:9 aspect ratio displays. It also plans to bring some additional performance improvements. However, it does not plan to remove the FPS cap from the game.

I finished MGS Delta: Snake Eater with an unlocked framerate using MGSDeltaFix. The only problem I had was after meeting Granin. For some odd reason, Snake got stuck behind a door. That was the only scene where the unlocked framerate caused an issue. Other than that, the game ran great, and I was able to enjoy it at 120 FPS.

Konami has not mentioned any plans to add Frame Gen to the game. Since I’ve tested both DLSS Frame Gen and Smooth Motion, I can tell you that Smooth Motion works better in this title (it has fewer artifacts). So, instead of forcing DLSS Frame Gen, you can simply enable Smooth Motion from the NVIDIA App. Well, that is if you own an NVIDIA RTX-40 or RTX-50 series GPU.

As I’ve already reported, PC gamers can also enable Hardware Lumen and Ray Reconstruction. I should note, though, that Hardware Lumen will crash the game during your fight with Volgin. So, make sure to disable it once you reach that point.

Like always, Steam will download this update the next time you launch its client. Below, you can also find its complete changelog.
