Let’s see how the Vols graded out.

Twenty-two Tennessee offensive players played over 20 snaps which speaks to how quickly the Vols got to some backups in this game. Especially considering running backs Peyton Lewis and DeSean Bishop each played under 20 snaps.
At the top, Joey Aguilar earned a grade that will almost certainly make him one of the highest graded quarterbacks in the entire country in week two. Jesse Perry also continues to play extremely well at right tackle. Will be interesting to see how Tennessee handles things when David Sanders returns to the field.
Here’s a look at some players who failed to play 20 snaps— Radarious Jackson earned an 86.6 grade in 15 snaps, George MacIntyre earned a 72.6 play in 11 snaps, Peyton Lewis earned a 61.2 grade in 15 snaps and DeSean Bishop earned a 54.8 grade in 17 snaps.

Tennessee’s defensive line led the way on the defensive side of the ball with Jordan Ross, Tyre West and Bryson Eason earning the three highest grades on the Vols’ defense. It was a big bounce back for West after he played little last week. Dominic Bailey slid inside and Tyree Weathersby missed the game, extending his role.
Cornerbacks Colton Hood and Ty Redmond were Tennessee’s two highest graded defenders in week one and they weren’t too far behind the defensive linemen in week two. The test gets much harder starting next week but those two continue to perform well with Jermod McCoy and Rickey Gibson injured.
Tennessee’s STARs did not perform well in this one with Carter and McMurray both gradin out low. McMurray had a 21.8 tackling grade which really downed him in this one.
