Taylor Swift’s engagement ring designer is sharing an inspiring message.
Days after the “Bejeweled” singer announced that she and Travis Kelce are set to exchange vows, Kindred Lubeck of Artifex Fine Jewelry detailed the journey that led her to craft the breathtaking diamond.
“My name is Kindred Lubeck,” she said in a video posted on Instagram Aug. 29. “I’m 30 years old, I started making jewelry in the summer of 2019. I was 25.”
From there, the jeweler encouraged viewers to follow their passions no matter what.
“I believe that if someone says you can’t do something, you should prove them 110 percent wrong,” she continued. “I think when one door closes, you should kick the next one down. I think that if you have a dream, you should never, ever quit.”
Kindred ended the video with a message of gratitude to her followers—which included a nod to a track from Taylor’s 2010 album Speak Now.

“For those of you have been with me since day one, thank you so much from the bottom of my heart,” she concluded. “And to those of you who are new, I’m enchanted to meet you.”
Taylor, 35, unveiled the sparkler—a single elongated diamond set on a yellow gold band with two smaller diamonds on each side—in an Instagram photo carousel Aug. 26, declaring, “Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married.”
Later that day, Travis’s dad Ed Kelce shared details about the Kansas City Chiefs tight end’s mindset before popping the question.
“It was a couple weeks ago that Travis got it done, after a few weeks of prodding from myself and from [Taylor’s dad] Scott Swift,” Ed said in an interview with Today Australia. “He was going to do it, but wanted to find the perfect way to ask her and to make it special.”
And after getting the call that the deed was done, Ed couldn’t have been happier.
“They’re just so good together,” he gushed. “They really are. And they’re both so happy.”

July 2023: So, Make the Friendship Bracelets
Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce‘s love story began in July 2023, when the singer’s Eras Tour made a stop at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, Mo.
As a huge Swiftie, the Kansas City Chiefs tight end caught the show with hopes of giving Taylor a friendship bracelet with his number on it. However, he failed to complete the pass due to her pre-show rituals.
“I was disappointed that she doesn’t talk before or after her shows because she has to save her voice for the 44 songs that she sings,” Travis shared on the July 26 episode of his New Heights podcast. “So, I was a little butt-hurt I didn’t get to hand her one of the bracelets I made for her.”
Summer 2023: This Is Him Trying
