Geddes, N.Y. — Hall of Fame vocalist Dionne Warwick has canceled her scheduled concert at the New York State Fair. She was slated to perform at noon Monday on the Chevy Court stage.
Fair officials announced that country duo Locash will step in as the replacement act, keeping the free midday concert slot alive. The Nashville-based group, made up of Chris Lucas and Preston Brust, is best known for its hits “I Love This Life” and “I Know Somebody.”

Warwick, a six-time Grammy Award winner, was one of the most anticipated names on this year’s fair lineup. Organizers did not immediately provide a reason for her cancellation.
Monday’s Chevy Court concert remains free with fair admission. Locash has played the fair in previous years and have drawn a lively crowd with their high-energy country-pop performance.
