Syko Stu released from hospital one week after brutal Raja Jackson assault

Syko Stu has been released from the hospital a week after being brutally assaulted by Quinton “Rampage” Jackson’s son Raja during a Kick stream.

The pro wrestler, whose real name is Stuart Smith, had agreed to participate in a work spot with Jackson during a KnokXperience event on Saturday, August 23rd. But Jackson — who holds a 4-0 amateur and 0-1 record in MMA — came into the ring with the intention to attack Smith for real.

Raja powerbombed the 39 year old veteran, knocking him unconscious. He then punched Smith over 20 times in the face before other wrestlers were forced to pull him off. Smith was rushed to the hospital in serious condition, where he stayed until today.

Smith’s fiancé, Contessa Patterson, shared a new update on his Facebook page.

“Stuart has been released from the hospital and is now home resting,” she wrote. “He sustained a serious head injury and was unconscious upon arrival at the ER. His injuries include trauma to both the upper and lower jaws, a laceration to his upper lip, and a fracture to the maxilla bone, which unfortunately resulted in the loss of several teeth.”

“He has a long road of recovery ahead, but he remains in good spirits despite everything he has been through.
We are deeply grateful for all the love and support we’ve received during this time. Thank you to everyone who has contributed in any way — whether through monetary donations, food, flowers, or gifts. Your kindness means more than words can express.”

A GoFundMe was started to help pay for Smith’s hospital bills and recovery, and has raised over $200,000 so far.

There has been no update from the police regarding potential charges against Raja Jackson, other than vague comments that the situation is under investigation. While Jackson’s father, a former UFC light heavyweight champion, has commented on the situation, Raja has stayed offline and silent since the incident.
