If you didn’t know, it was revealed in early December 2024 that Sabrina and the 32-year-old Oscar-nominated actor had broken up after a year of dating.

Shortly after the split news, Barry fired back at people digging too deep into his personal life.

“I deactivated my account because I can no longer let this stuff distract from my family and my work,” Barry wrote at the time on X. “The messages I have received no person should ever have to read them. Absolute lies, hatred, disgusting commentary about my appearance, character, how I am as a parent and every other inhumane thing you can imagine.”

While Barry felt the need to hit back, Sabrina shared in the new interview why she feels she isn’t to blame for the speculation.

“I feel pretty transparent going into any of my relationships that I write songs,” Sabrina explained. “Most of the times they have been pretty flattered when they get a song about them, good or bad. I think they’re just excited to get a shoutout.”

Also in the interview, the “Manchild” singer responded to the idea that her song lyrics will prevent men from wanting to date her.

“I’m not scared of men in that sense,” Sabrina shared. “I think I’ll attract exactly who I’m supposed to attract.”

Sabrina also responded to criticism that her music is too raunchy.
