Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s engagement was just the first sign that the two are ready for the next step. Of course, there’s marriage, and there are even reports that the two are looking to start a family soon, but there’s also the one thing a lot of couples would describe as an even bigger deal than signing that marriage certificate: joint property. And when you’re worth as much as Taylor and Travis are, then the home you choose is going to be something.
Reports indicate the couple might have just found that home. The couple could reportedly settle down in this multi-million dollar Ohio mansion close to Kelce’s hometown of Cleveland Heights. And it even has a music studio! How much more perfect could it be?

Earlier this summer, the two were spotted having lunch in Chagrin Falls, which is very close to Cleveland Heights. Rumors at the time indicated the two might have been house hunting, and that they looked at a mansion in Hunting Valley valued at $18 million. But then that died down, and well, everyone’s attention has now turned to the engagement. But should we be looking back at those rumors?
The home is said to be for sale after “the husband passed away during COVID,” an insider told Page Six, and “he and his wife had barely lived at the property” after it was finished. It features 61.26 acres, 6 bedrooms, 13 bathrooms, and it was built by architect Charles Fazio and yacht interior designer Ari Loar.
Perhaps as importantly for the couple? The house sits in a very secluded area, offering a lot of privacy for two superstars like Swift and Kelce, who undoubtedly will have even more eyes on them after their engagement announcement.
All of this might be perfect if Swift and Kelce are really looking to expand their family, as well, as new reports have indicated. “They absolutely want a family,” a source confirmed to Us Weekly. “Their dream is to have kids.” According to the source, Swift and Kelce might “not wait too long” to start their own family. “She’s in a great space in her career and with her success and she can take some time away,” the outlet said.
How the financial aspect of buying a property will be split between the two is something we might never know, but experts speculate that the two are likely to sign a prenup, and anything like property would probably be split evenly between them if bought before their wedding and if both contribute the same amount of money.
Kara Chrobak, founding partner of Bespoke Law, explained to Page Six, “A prenup makes total sense for them. Taylor is reportedly worth around $1.6 billion, and Travis has about $90 million. That’s a huge difference.”
“Having a prenup lets them both go into the marriage knowing their separate assets are protected and avoids messy, expensive litigation if things don’t work out,” she continued. “For people at their level, it’s really about peace of mind and keeping things private, not about planning for divorce.”
Let us all just remember Jeff Bezos‘ first divorce if we need a reminder of how things go without a prenup.
But for now, Taylor and Travis are not worrying about these little details. They’re likely just enjoying the high of being newly engaged.
