2 Midlands Powerball tickets win from Wednesday’s drawing

BLYTHEWOOD, S.C. (WIS) – Despite no jackpot winner, four Powerball tickets bought in South Carolina won big in Wednesday night’s drawing – including two in the Midlands.

The South Carolina Education Lottery said the four tickets each came within one number of winning the $815 million jackpot, which has since increased to $950 million.

Two of the tickets, each worth $50,000, were purchased in the Midlands. One was bought at Sharpe Shoppe #4 at 10400 Wilson Blvd. in Blythewood and the Bowman Foodmart at 6204 Charleston Hwy. in Bowman.

Two other tickets that each won $200,000 were sold at P&P Food Mart at 1015 N. Main St. in Greer and the Food Lion LLC at 77 Hwy. 57 S. in Little River.

Here are the results of Wednesday’s drawing:

  • Powerball: – 9 – 12 – 22 – 41 – 61
  • Powerball: 25
  • PowerPlay: X4
