Keegan Bradley doesn’t pick himself for U.S. Ryder cup squad

Keegan Bradley did not call his own name Wednesday for the United States Ryder Cup team, deciding against becoming the event’s first playing captain in 62 years.

Bradley named Justin Thomas, Collin Morikawa, Ben Griffin, Cameron Young, Patrick Cantlay and Sam Burns as his six captains picks for next month’s Ryder Cup at Bethpage Black on New York’s Long Island.

Bradley finished 11th in this season’s U.S. Ryder Cup standings and was a candidate to be the first playing captain since Arnold Palmer in 1963.
