Selena Gomez Has Rumored Bachelorette Party on Yacht in Cabo: Photos

First comes Mexico, then comes marriage…

Selena Gomez and a group of friends jetted off to Cabo San Lucas over the weekend to celebrate what’s rumored to be her bachelorette party, ahead of her wedding to fiancé Benny Blanco. They were photographed spending time on a luxury yacht on Friday, Aug. 23.

The women could be seen dancing together, posing for selfies and sharing some laughs. One photo captured Gomez sitting on the side of the boat, soaking up the sun.

The Only Murders in the Building star wore a black strapless swimsuit and sunglasses for the occasion, later donning a pair of white lounge pants for a walk around town.

While Gomez, 33, was having her celebration in Mexico, Blanco, 37, was off in Las Vegas for what appeared to be his bachelor party. He shared several highlights from the trip on his Instagram Stories.

One snapshot showed him wearing a robe at a spa, which he described in a caption as “the most healing place on earth.” Blanco also included photos of himself eating caviar and sitting at a large dining table covered with food, including a box of bagels from Sadelle’s.

He captioned the table photo, “I’ll never forget this weekend,” also tagging Resorts World Las Vegas.

A source tells PEOPLE that Blanco went to XS nightclub at Wynn Las Vegas on Saturday, Aug. 23, arriving at around 2 a.m. Marshmello was the headlining act, and Blanco got a photo with him, the source said. Close pal Lil Dicky was also part of Blanco’s group.

Blanco popped the question to Gomez in December after the pair had been dating for more than a year. She shared the happy news on Instagram at the time, writing, “Forever begins now,” and sharing photos of her ring and the couple embracing.

Gomez’s BFF Taylor Swift already had their wedding on her mind, as she commented on the post, “Yes I will be the flower girl.”

The “Love On” singer first confirmed her romance with Blanco in December 2023 by liking and leaving comments on Instagram posts that speculated the two were dating.

In one comment, she revealed that Blanco was “the best thing that’s ever happened to me.”

Shortly after the pair went “Instagram official” in January 2024, a source told PEOPLE that Gomez was “super happy and present” in her relationship with Blanco.

“She seems to be really feeling herself at the moment,” the insider said. “Maybe that’s Benny or maybe that’s just where she’s at personally and professionally.”

Months later, in April 2024, a source told PEOPLE that Gomez and Blanco’s relationship was “very serious.”

“Benny makes her feel special,” the source added. “She really does feel like it’s the best she’s ever been treated by a guy, and she’s had a certain glow since they started dating.”

While the couple’s recent celebrations in Cabo and Las Vegas suggest their wedding is imminent, Gomez revealed on Therapuss with Jake Shane earlier this month that she and Blanco had yet to dive into “all the nitty-gritty” of planning their big day, due to being busy with their respective work commitments.

However, she shared her happy anticipation about marrying Blanco, saying, “I couldn’t be more excited. I’m really, I just have never really felt so sure about something.”
