Logan Paul is surprisingly an entertaining professional wrestler, but after throwing one of the worst scripted punches ever on Friday night his biggest haters are having a frenzy.
During Friday’s episode of WWE SmackDown, Paul was supposed to launch a sneak attack against legendary wrestler John Cena during a backstage interview. The high-flying Paul launched out of nowhere and tried his best to land a sellable punch to Cena’s chin. Instead, Paul completely missed the mark and ended up botching the entire setup.

As a result, the WWE production team was forced to re-shoot the backstage encounter from a different angle and give Paul a better chance of selling the bit. Unfortunately, that also came out looking a little phony because Paul walked right in front of Cena to ruin the “surprise.” It didn’t leave WWE with many options. When it was all said and done, the first attempt aired on Netflix and the second attempt aired on TV.
Check out both angles below:
As anticipated, social media had a field day with Paul’s WWE snafu. Check out some of the reaction from X below and let us know your final thoughts!
