This year’s preseason finale followed the same script as last year’s: After Stetson Bennett IV led the offense the first two games, it was Winn’s chance to do so in Week 3. After four-straight empty possessions, Winn completed a 33-yard pass to Ferguson en route to the Rams’ first points, a 1-yard touchdown pass he completed to wide receiver Drake Stoops to cut the Browns’ lead to 10-7 with 1:55 to go in the first half, and later the go-ahead scoring drive capped by running back Jordan Waters‘ 2-yard touchdown run with 2:03 remaining. Winn finished 15 of 23 passing for 191 yards and one touchdown, Waters a team-high six carries for 42 yards in addition to the touchdown.
