2025 Jets Roster Cuts (08/23/2025)

The Jets on Saturday announced they have waived six players: CB Mario Goodrich, T Samuel Jackson, TE Neal Johnson, WR Dymere Miller, DT Fatorma Mullbah and WR Ontaria “Pokey” Wilson.

Goodrich (6-0, 186), a second-year player from Clemson, was claimed off waivers from the Broncos on Aug. 2 and had 8 tackles in preseason action.

Jackson (6-5, 325), a first-year offensive lineman from Central Florida, signed with the Jets on July 23. Initially a UDFA who signed with Jacksonville in 2023, Jackson also played with the Houston Roughnecks of the UFL.

Johnson (6-4, 250), a first-year TE from Louisiana, had 2 catches and 27 yards receiving in the preseason. He signed a reserves/future deal with the Jets in January.

Miller (5-11, 184) led Rutgers last season with 757 receiving yards to go with 59 catches and 4 touchdowns. He was one of 15 UDFAs to sign with the Jets on May 9 and had 2 kick returns for 33 yards and one 24-yard reception in preseason play.

Mullbah (6-4, 306) recorded 75 total tackles and 7.5 TFL at West Virginia over 26 games before joining the Jets in May. He totaled 3 tackles this summer season.

Wilson (6-0, 175) averaged 12.7 yards on his three catches this preseason. The first-year wideout, a Florida State product, played with the CFL’s Winnipeg Blue Bombers in 2024 and hauled in 71 passes for 1,026 yards and 3 touchdowns.

The Jets must reduce their roster to 53 players by Tuesday at 4 p.m. ET. They will also be able to build a practice squad of 16 players (or 17 if a player is part of the International Pathway Program).
