Simpson was the Ravens’ only starter to play in the preseason finale and he finished on a high note. Simpson had a deflected pass that resulted in an interception, 1.5 sacks, a forced fumble, and six tackles in the first half. After a good training camp in which he re-claimed his spot next to Roquan Smith, Simpson built momentum heading into the regular season. Head Coach John Harbaugh said Simpson took a “big step” this offseason.
