“Love Island USA” returns to Peacock for its Season 7 reunion on Aug. 25, and Peacock’s trailer for the episode teases even more drama than before.
Hosted by Ariana Madix and Andy Cohen, the reunion will be the first time since July’s finale episode that the Season 7 islanders will be back together in one room.
In the trailer, Jeremiah Brown and Ace Greene get in a heated argument about the men’s decision to vote Brown off of the show, and Olandria Carthen and Chelley Bissainthe confront Huda Mustafa about comments she made after the show about feeling bullied by her fellow islanders.
Shot on a set that resembles a room from the “Love Island” villa in Fiji, the reunion features Amaya Espinal and Bryan Arenales, who won the season; Brown, Mustafa, Chris Seely, Austin Shepard, Belle-A Walker, Andreina Santos, TJ Palma and Charlie Georgio, who left the season single; and the pairs who left the season in relationships: Bissainthe and Greene, Carthen and Nicolas Vansteenberghe, Taylor Williams and Clarke Carraway, and Iris Kendall and Pepe Garcia.
The couples formed in the villa will give status updates about their relationships during the reunion — notably including Arenales, who will address allegations made shortly after the show that he cheated on Espinal.
“Love Island USA” became the first Peacock series to ever make No. 1 on Nielsen’s weekly streaming charts during the week of the Season 7 finale. It remains Peacock’s most-watched original season of television ever.
The series is executive produced by David George, Adam Sher, Ben Thursby-Palmer, Jordana Hochman, Bernie Schaeffer, James Barker, Blake Garrett, Courtney Rosenthal, Richard Cowles, Mike Spencer, Tom Gould, Richard Foster and Chet Fenster. Lifted Entertainment and WPP Media’s Motion Entertainment own the format, which is distributed by ITV Studios.
