Cracker Barrel has introduced a new logo for the first time in nearly half a century, dropping its long-running image of a man resting by a barrel in favor of a modern text-only design. The change is part of a wider effort to update the brand’s look, menu, and restaurants.
The reveal comes alongside a campaign called “All the More,” which also introduces seasonal menu items and a new commercial featuring country singer Jordan Davis. More than 40 locations have already undergone remodels that replace the rustic, antique-filled aesthetic with a modern farmhouse style.
After news of the redesign made its way to social media, fans shared their thoughts about the new logo on X.
“I dig the modern look. well done CB,” one user said.
Another said: “If they kept the barrel with the new designed logo it would’ve looked better.”
“Looks simpler! Not a bad thing,” replied a third.
New menu and store updates
As part of the refresh, Cracker Barrel is bringing back fan favorites and adding new dishes. Hashbrown Casserole Shepherd’s Pie, Cinnamon Roll Skillet, Butter Pecan French Toast Bake, Herb-Roasted Chicken, and Classic Pot Roast are among the highlights.
The Uncle Herschel’s Favorite breakfast has also returned, now offering a New York Strip Steak option.
To promote the relaunch, customers will receive a free Classic Side with any purchase on August 23 and 24. The chain says these menu changes are designed to balance nostalgia with modern tastes.
Cracker Barrel operates nearly 660 restaurants across the United States, with more locations set to adopt the updated interior design in the coming months.
