AEW recorded the August 20th episode of AEW Collision from the OVO Hydro in Glasgow, Scotland. The action-packed night delivered some solid matchups, and here are the spoiler results.

The show started with a promo from Will Ospreay, who said he was not cleared for the match at Forbidden Door, but since it was unsanctioned, he would be wrestling anyway. Jon Moxley, Claudio Castagnoli, and Wheeler Yuta came to the ring and tried to attack, but they were met by Speedball Mike Bailey and Kevin Knight. All three sides brawled until Hiroshi Tanahashi hit the ring.

Jon Moxley, Wheeler Yuta, and Claudio Castagnoli faced Hiroshi Tanahashi, Speedball Mike Bailey, and Kevin Knight. In the end, Hiroshi Tanahashi, Speedball Mike Bailey, and Kevin Knight picked up the win.

There was interference and a post-match beatdown with Gabe Kidd, Drilla Maloney, Clark Connors, and Robbie X coming out during the match. After the bell, the Young Bucks joined in. Roderick Strong and Kyle O’Reilly fought the Bucks to the back. Darby Allin made a surprise appearance, and the Opps joined after his arrival, leading to a big brawl into the crowd.

There was an in-ring promo segment with Adam Copeland and Christian Cage as they confronted Kip Sabian and Nick Wayne, which also featured the return of Luchasaurus. Luchasaurus was not on Cage’s side. Nick Wayne revealed he was injured, and Luchasaurus would take his place in their tag team match at Forbidden Door.

FTR (with Stokely) faced Brody King and Bandido where winners would earn a spot in the AEW Tag Team Title Match at Forbidden Door. The match went to a time-limit draw, meaning both teams would face the Hurt Syndicate for the Tag Team Titles at Forbidden Door.

Hangman Adam Page delivered a promo in the ring. Meanwhile, MJF held Mark Briscoe in the back with the help of Ricochet and the Gates of Agony, forcing Page to agree to three conditions: the title could change hands on a DQ, the title could change hands on a count-out, and MJF would not have to cash in his contract for the title match.

In the main event, Mercedes Moné and Athena faced Toni Storm and Alex Windsor, which saw Mercedes Moné and Athena pick up the win in a hard-fought match. This concluded the tapings.
