Samsung’s next high-end Android tablets are on the way, with new leaked images showing off the Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra and its key display change.
The “Ultra” tablet in Samsung’s lineup is a giant, 14.6-inch device that’s remarkably thin, but still packing a punch in performance and power. Yet, a key part of each generation of Samsung’s biggest tablet has been a display notch to house a pair of front-facing cameras, a design trait not present on the rest of the lineup.
WinFuture has now obtained and published images of the Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra, showcasing the familiar design of the super-sized tablet. The report claims that the Ultra will be powered by MediaTek Dimensity 9400, 16GB of RAM, an 11,600 mAh battery, and ship with Android 16 / One UI 8, all in a package that’s just “around” 5mm thick.
The only visible change in these images is seen in the display notch, where Samsung has lessened the size considerably. The notch is now rounded and is barely a half-circle cut into the panel. This is the result of Samsung dropping one of the front-facing cameras. Where prior models had bother a standard lens and an ultrawide one, the Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra has just one.

Ultimately, this might be for the best for users, though it’s still bizarre to have a notch of any kind with a tablet this large.
In any case, the report mentions that Samsung will apparently launch the Galaxy Tab S11 series soon, possibly around IFA 2025 in early September.
