Fans encouraged to plan ahead, arrive early as Tigers hit the gridiron

COLUMBIA, Mo. – As the highly anticipated 2025 Mizzou Football season begins with the “Kickoff in CoMo” home opener on Thursday, Aug. 28 at 6:30 p.m., Mizzou Athletics has detailed important game day procedures for fans as construction continues on the Memorial Stadium Centennial Project.

To expedite entry into Memorial Stadium, with capacity crowds expected all season coupled with stadium construction, gates for all fans will open two hours prior to kickoff each game day instead of 90 minutes.

Memorial Stadium Centennial Project Construction

Construction on the Memorial Stadium Centennial Project is ongoing for the entirety of the 2025 season. Of note, Gate 1 and the north concourse inside the stadium no longer exist. Fans should expect more congestion at remaining entry gates and on concourses inside the stadium and plan accordingly. Construction occurring on game day will stop prior to gates opening and will only take place inside the project footprint.

Parking & Tailgating

Fans are encouraged to allow ample time to arrive on campus, as road construction projects in Boone County on I-70 between mile markers 137 and 144 and U.S. Route 63 at I-70 will impact traffic flow.

Parking lots will open at 2 p.m. for the “Kickoff in CoMo” home opener on Thursday, Aug. 28 due to normal campus operations. For all other home games, parking lots will open at 7 a.m. on game day. Truman’s Landing will open for RVs at 5 p.m. the day prior to the game.

Parking passes are sold on a season-long basis and are sold out. For information on game day parking options, visit THIS LINK. Please note, PS7 will not be available for game day parking for the home opener due to campus operations.

Rideshare drop-off and pick-up is now located in Lot R. After being dropped off, fans will be able to cross Research Park Drive and ride the pregame MO-X shuttle to Memorial Stadium.

Entry to Stadium

Tickets to Mizzou Athletics events are digital, and fans should download tickets and parking to their digital wallets prior to arriving on campus. For information on digital ticketing, please visit THIS LINK.

The new gate opening time of two hours prior to kickoff is shortly after the conclusion of Tiger Walk (two-and-a-half hours prior to kickoff).

Gate Entry & Ticketing

A Clear Bag policy remains in effect at Memorial Stadium and all Mizzou Athletics home events.

Fans should enter the stadium via gates on the same side as where their tickets are located due to impacts of the Memorial Stadium Centennial Project:

  • Fans sitting on the east side (Sections 101-110), students in the student section and fans in Tiger Deck (Sections 301-315) should enter via Gates 2E-6E
  • Fans sitting on the west side (Sections 116-125) should enter via Gates 2W-6W
  • Entrances to the premium Walsworth Family Columns Club, the West Tower and the South End Zone remain unchanged

The tunnel under Stadium Boulevard will be open for pedestrian traffic, but fans are encouraged to use a different route due to smaller walkways around the construction staging.

Ticket resolution will be located in the 3E and 3W Ticket Offices of Memorial Stadium.
