In-N-Out to open Ridgefield, Washington location on Wednesday

In-N-Out will open its doors to customers in southwest Washington on Wednesday. The Ridgefield restaurant will be the first In-N-Out in Washington.

The popular restaurant will be open daily from 10:30 a.m. to 1 a.m. and 1:30 a.m. on Friday and Saturday.

According to the Chief of Police for the Ridgefield Police Department Cathy Doriot, officers and troopers will be on site on opening day to help control traffic and crowds flocking to the area.

Doriot tells KATU In-N-Out does have overflow lots to the north of the business which will queue “at least a few hundred cars.” She insists that camping will not be allowed on public spaces per municipal code and asks people respect the ongoing construction zones and people working in them.

Officials said there will be one drive-thru lane, indoor seating for about 70 people, and a covered patio seating for nearly 30 people.

“Their buns, they’re never frozen. There are no preservatives in them. And I do not know of another fast food place that does not have preservatives in their buns,” said Steve Mathis, who helps run a popular Facebook group for Ridgefield In-N-Out fans called In-N-Out Ridgefield, Wa.

“Clint Ford, a 26-year veteran of In-N-Out, will manage the Ridgefield restaurant at 5801 N. Pioneer Canyon Drive,” the chain told KATU News.
