It’s official: Prince William, Kate Middleton and their three children—Prince George,12, Princess Charlotte, 10, and Prince Louis, 7—are embarking on a new chapter of their lives. Kensington Palace confirmed reports that the royal family “will move house later this year.”
While the palace hasn’t revealed the exact location, multiple reports say the family will be moving from their four-bedroom home, known as Adelaide Cottage, in Windsor, to an eight-bedroom estate nearby. Dubbed Forest Lodge, the 328-year-old home has been undergoing renovations, which the Prince and Princess of Wales are paying for themselves, according to People. (Prince William earns about $30 million a year from the Duchy of Cornwall estate.)
